<image:caption>Ever since I was a child I was drawn to the great outdoors. For years I longed to explore. To discover. To inspire. I dreamed of traveling the world, documenting the wild landscapes and dramatic nightscapes I came across in my path as a wandering photographic artist. Photographer | Artist | Engineer My name is Konstantinos Ouzounidis, and I’m the Nomadic Photographer. I believe that the greatest thing in life is to be able to experience adventures in unknown lands, and I’m blessed to be able to make every day an adventure. Nomad | Camera | Adventure I want to share my Fine Art photography with you as a way of bringing you along on my three year odyssey over frozen, snow-capped mountains, through verdant fields, and across the breathtakingly dramatic nightscapes and wild landscapes of some of the most beautiful corners of Planet Earth.Just me, my camera, and the elements. My hope is that it inspires you to seek out your own adventures in life.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 meters it is not the highest peak of the massif, but is the best known. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The name of Bromo derived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god. Mount Bromo sits in the middle of a plain called the "Sea of Sand" (Javanese: Segara Wedi or Indonesian: Lautan Pasir), a protected nature reserve since 1919. The typical way to visit Mount Bromo is from the nearby mountain village of Cemoro Lawang. From there it is possible to walk to the volcano in about 45 minutes, but it is also possible to take an organised jeep tour, which includes a stop at the viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan (2,770 m) (Indonesian: Gunung Penanjakan). The viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan can also be reached on foot in about two hours. Depending on the degree of volcanic activity, the Indonesian Centre for Volcanology and Disaster Hazard Mitigation sometimes issues warnings against visiting Mount Bromo.</image:caption>

Cinque Torri, as all the other mountains in the area, are made of dolomite, with a particular pale grey colour. The group is formed by five towers (which give the name to the mountain) with a maximum elevation of 2.361 m (Torre Grande). Every "tower" has its own name.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Jökulsárlón literally "glacial river lagoon" is a large glacial lake in southern part of Vatnajökull National Park, Iceland. Situated at the head of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier, it developed into a lake after the glacier started receding from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. The lake has grown since then at varying rates because of melting of the glaciers. It is now 1.5 km away from the ocean's edge and covers an area of about 18 km2. In 2009 it was reported to be the deepest lake in Iceland, at over 284 m, as glacial retreat extended its boundaries. The size of the lake has increased fourfold since the 1970s. It is considered as one of the natural wonders of Iceland. The lake can be seen from Route 1 between Höfn and Skaftafell. It appears as a ghostly procession of luminous blue icebergs.</image:caption>

It is about five kilometers from the city of Ica in the Ica District of Ica Province. The oasis was introduced as a feature on the back of the 50 nuevo sol note in 1991. Huacachina has a permanent population of around 100 people, although it hosts many tens of thousands of tourists each year.</image:caption>

It is about 4 kilometers north of Ahu Tahai following along the coastal path, and is usually the last cavern to be visited in the tourist circuit Te Ana or “the caves” that begins in Ahu Akivi. Ana Kakenga is a volcanic tube, about 50 meters long, formed thousands of years ago when the still liquid lava continued to flow underground. This cavern, like that of Ana Te Pora, was used as Ana Kionga or refuge cave during the struggles that took place centuries ago between the different clans of the island.</image:caption>

It is located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Machupicchu District, above the Sacred Valley, which is 80 kilometres northwest of Cuzco. The Urubamba River flows past it, cutting through the Cordillera and creating a canyon with a tropical mountain climate. Machu Picchu was declared a Peruvian Historic Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Among the quiet forests of San Gerardo de Dota live a variety of animals and a wide selection of birds, including the famous Resplendent Quetzal and dozens of hummingbird species. Though San Gerardo de Dota is slowly becoming known for its superb bird watching, it remains home to just a handful of quaint eco-lodges and restaurants, making it the perfect escape.</image:caption>

In fact, this arid land has inspired a series of myths and legends that have been carried down through the centuries by the local people, the Atacameñans. One of these myths tells of a love triangle between two volcanoes, Licancabur and Juriques, and Mount Quimal. The Atacameñans see the volcanoes as people, and some say they are royalty - as with all oral tales, accounts vary from village to village and between different families.</image:caption>

The UNESCO World Heritage site inspires a sense of wonder – this amazing complex has survived wars, earthquakes, political upheavals and more. It is the most dramatic and complete ancient Greek monumental complex that survives today. This site saw the emergence of classical Greek thought and art and it’s awe-inspiring to think that on this very hill, Democracy was born. . Our land is not an icy wilderness or some remote island where you can continue your existence decade after decade and generation after generation undisturbed by external factors. Ours is one of the most hotly contested, travelled and conquered regions. And yet there is written proof of 3.500 years of Greek speaking people and counting. There is hardly any other small nation on this planet who can claim the same.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Wanaka Tree in New Zealand is quite possibly the most famous tree in the world. . I ended up spending around two days just taking pictures of this stupid tree. In hidsight it was a bit ridiculous to take photos of a damn tree two days in a row, but here I am, writing about that damn tree. However, if you're super into photography which I am guessing you are if you're reading this, then it's worth photographing the tree. . I got to the tree about an hour before sunrise and well over an hour before sunset. I was really happy I did because you literally have to get a spot on the shore to take a photo of the tree. I started a little further back on the shoreline and had photographers plopping their shit down literally right in front of me. People were jockying for the best spot, getting in front of each other's cameras and shining lights at night that ruined a bunch of my shots. If you go early you can at least get a good spot on the shore to take photos of the tree as the sun is rising.</image:caption>

It is in the Daniel Campos Province in Potosí in southwest Bolivia, near the crest of the Andes at an elevation of 3,656 meters above sea level. The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with the average elevation variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar. The crust serves as a source of salt and covers a pool of brine, which is exceptionally rich in lithium. It contains 50% to 70% of the world's known lithium reserves according to a 2009 Foreign Policy article by Joshua Keating.</image:caption>

It is characterized by a spit of around 50 meters width at the mouth of a long embayment, known as Rodeo Lagoon; for much of the year the lagoon is cut off from the ocean, making the beach spit a baymouth bar. Part of the beach is sheltered by cliffs. Rodeo Beach is known for its dark, pebbly sand, its uses for surfing and sunbathing, and its locale as a place for viewing, but not collecting, semi-precious stones. This beach is unique among California beaches in that it is largely made up of coarse, pebbly chert grains, both red and green in color. Forggensee is known primarily as a tourist destination for aquatic sports and recreation. The lake provides ideal conditions for surfing, sailing, fishing and boating. The lake is stocked with pike, trout and eel. Two ships navigate the lake on two different routes. Forggensee is a man-made lake. It was created in 1954, when the River Lech was dammed for the first time to create the Lechsee Lake. <image:caption>Petrohué Waterfalls, Saltos del Petrohué is a chute-type waterfall in the upper reach of Petrohué River in Chile, a short distance downstream of the source of this river in Todos los Santos Lake. This waterfall is inside the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, close to the road leading to the Petrohue locality on lake Todos los Santos. Tourists on the international route between Puerto Montt in Chile and Bariloche in Argentina are generally offered a stop for a walk to enjoy the sights. The waterfall is supported by basaltic lava stemming from the Osorno Volcano that sits in between Todos los Santos and Llanquihue Lake and provides an interesting background for pictures. The average water flow of these falls is of 270 m3 per second, but it can be much larger during the rainy season when the surface level of lake Todos los Santos rises by up to 3 meters. The water, decanted in the lake, is usually clear with a green hue; however, occasionally, when lahars descending from the volcano are active, water at the falls can be loaded with sand and silt.</image:caption>

The Church of the Good Shepherd on the shores of Lake Tekapo on the South Island of New Zealand is a small Anglican church used by various denominations. Built in 1935 as a memorial church to commemorate early settlers, it is one of the most photographed items in the country. It has a Category I heritage registration by Heritage New Zealand</image:caption>

<image:caption>Located in Southern California, Joshua Tree National Park is a beautiful area that has thousands of acres of barren desert with many different plant life and rock formations dotting its bleak landscape. For the rock climber, hiker or adventurer it holds miles of hiking trials and vertical rock walls to scale with days of adventure to fill up your time. In between the Joshua trees there are many rock formations that are often climbed by the many rock climbers that visit the park. However, there are a few rocks that are their own attraction based on the way they were uniquely formed, these rocks are arch rock and skull rock. Arch Rock itself is nestled in the White Tank Campground next to site 9 and it is about a half mile walk to the rock. It is very easy to get to and almost everyone should have no problem with it. When you turn the corner and see arch rock with its 30 foot across arch resting on top of a pile of rocks it is pretty amazing. You can climb on top of the rock and even get up close for some great pictures.</image:caption>

Waves driven by north winds shape the greyish-white volcanic rock into amazing shapes, and the area is often compared to a moonscape. The local people often refer to the scenic landscape of Sarakiniko as Lunar. The bone-white beach derives its unusual characteristics from the erosion of the volcanic rock by wind and wave. Sarakiniko is one of the most photographed landscapes in the Aegean.</image:caption>

After the coastline had receded seaward (it is now at a distance of about 5 kilometres from Skógar), the former sea cliffs remained, parallel to the coast over hundreds of kilometres, creating together with some mountains a clear border between the coastal lowlands and the Highlands of Iceland. The Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in the country with a width of 25 metres and a drop of 60 m. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow which is normally visible on sunny days.</image:caption>
